The WA Local Government Association (WALGA) has awarded MAGIQ Software Preferred Supplier status under Business Systems Software and Services Contract Number C032_16.
WALGA is the peak industry body, advocating on behalf of WA Councils and negotiating product and service agreements for the sector. Preferred Supply arrangements are specified groupings of suppliers that have been pre-qualified and appointed by WALGA to supply a category of goods or services to Local Governments.
The Contract applies to the MAGIQ Software Platform of cloud deliverable finance and administrative business systems including:
- MAGIQ Enterprise – finance and council management
- MAGIQ Performance – budgeting, reporting and analytics, and strategic planning
- MAGIQ Documents – document and records management
WALGA undertakes a rigorous public procurement process that is fully compliant with legal and best practice purchasing requirements to provide its Members with the safeguard of a quality-assured process, legal compliance, probity, risk mitigation and security of supply.
As part of the Preferred Supplier selection process, MAGIQ Software underwent a robust evaluation to demonstrate the superior value for money provided by its business systems including:
- requisite experience
- proven technical expertise and suitably qualified staff
- a record of delivering high quality products or services
Under the terms of the Preferred Supplier Contract WA Councils may choose to procure any value of goods or services from MAGIQ Software without going to Tender, saving significant time and resources.
