Headquartered in Port Augusta in South Australia, the Outback Communities Authority (OCA) was established by the Outback Communities (Administration and Management) Act 2009 to manage the provision of and promote improvements in public services and facilities for outback communities.
The OCA (Outback Communities Authority) model is a hybrid between local government and community self-management by the 4,500 people who make the South Australian outback their home.
This brings a total of seven South Australian Local Government organisations to have recently selected the MAGIQ Cloud Platform, including:
- District Council of Karoonda East Murray
- District Council of Kimba
- Wudinna District Council
- District Council of Streaky Bay
- District Council of Peterborough
- Flinders Ranges Council
- Outback Communities Authority
“The selection of the MAGIQ Cloud Platform by all seven Local Government organisations is a significant endorsement of MAGIQ Software’s strategy to transition legacy on-premise ERP systems to a statutory compliant, full Cloud deployment,” explained Tony Tiftis, MAGIQ Software’s Chief Executive Officer.
MAGIQ Software continues to cultivate its Public Sector footprint across Australia, New Zealand and the United States with consistent new customer acquisitions across all our solutions including the MAGIQ Cloud deployed MAGIQ ERP, MAGIQ Performance and MAGIQ Documents. We welcome our new Customers and look forward to many years of positive engagement,” said Tony.
