MAGIQ Software recently invested in market-leading Zendesk service desk software to improve our customer support experience across all MAGIQ Software applications.

Zendesk service desk software allows our customers to:

  • log support tickets using web, mobile and email interfaces
  • view tickets logged to see actions on the ticket and close the ticket if resolution has been reached
  • access ‘frequently asked questions’ and a MAGIQ Software knowledge base

MAGIQ Software invited Kapiti Coast District Council to be the first of our customers to use the program and to assist us with the configuration and establishment of the software.

Kapiti Coast District Council’s internal service desk software was able to effortlessly integrate with Zendesk.

According to Steve Wake, Senior Application Support Officer from the Council, “Zendesk is easy to navigate, log tickets and respond to and has provided the Council with greater visibility and synchronicity of the status and actions of our service requests. Now in a service request whenever a change is made within a request there is constant, digital communication without the need for direct interaction, providing time efficiencies to the organisation.

The set-up of Zendesk ensures we communicate our requests in an accurate and succinct way.

We look forward to implementing Zendesk’s reporting and analytics capabilities so we can report on how requests are being managed, including general progress and likely closure timing.”
