The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder in Western Australia has selected MAGIQ Performance to achieve ‘best practice’ delivery of its financial, regulatory,  strategic reporting and planning processes.

Located in the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia, Kalgoorlie-Boulder is situated 600 kilometres east of Perth.  With a population of more than 30,000 people, it  is the largest urban centre in the Western Australian Goldfields region.

The City has had a rich gold mining history and heritage since the original claim was struck at Kalgoorlie in 1893. The concentrated area of large gold mines surrounding the original find is often referred to as the Golden Mile, and includes the Super Pit, one of the largest open cut gold mines at approximately 3.5 kilometres long, 1.5 kilometres wide and 570 metres deep.
